June 20 - 26 is Week 9 of the SYNC free audiobook program:

Classic adventures, reimagined in fresh voices! In  Astray, Irish-Canadian author Emma Donoghue, the author of Room, takes old newspaper clippings and creates new stories which range in subject matter from a circus elephant to counterfeiters to would-be grave-robbers.  Olivia Twist, based on Charles Dicken’s novel, is still set in the tough streets of Victorian London but this time with a girl as the main character. Listening readers are in for thrills as well as fun anticipating how the new story will next twist the original.

A link to download the audiobooks is on the library’s homepage and posters about the current pair of audiobooks are in the library window.
