Prom:
Attention grads, students are reminded that prom is quickly approaching and with that in mind, we require white, tree lights on green cords. They can be dropped off to Ms. Allen or Ms. MacLeod anytime TODAY! The plan for a “sparkly” prom is looking quite dim as only three grads have brought lights in.

There will be a mandatory prom meeting today at lunch in Ms. MacLeod’s room. All members must attend.

The following students are asked to go to Student Services sometime today:
Brendan Haughn

Locker Clean Out
High school students, if your locker is presently empty please take your lock off your locker and get a piece of tape and fasten it to your lock with the combination on it.  Once you have done this then pass it in to your homeroom teacher for them to collect.  We will have our official locker clean out for high school students today at 11:27.

Week 8 of the SYNC free audiobook program: June 14-20
It is appropriate that these two historical novels about African Americans are available during the week of the holiday Juneteenth, which recognizes the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved people in the US. My Name Is Not Friday is features a freeborn black youth sold into slavery at the end of the American Civil War.  Come August, Come Freedom is a fictional account of the childhood and youth of an actual historical figure, Gabriel, a literate slave in Virginia who led a rebellion in 1800.These audiobooks can be downloaded from the Leisure Reading page of the library website.

Nova Scotia Virtual Students
A reminder to NSVS students, that today is exam day. Exams will be written in the library all day and therefore the library is closed today. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you are writing your NSVS exam this morning, please go directly to the library.
