Land Acknowledgement

We would like to acknowledge that it is our privilege to work, play, live and learn in Mi'kma'ki, the traditional, and unsurrendered land of the Mi’kmaq people.  We recognize that we are descendants of settlers and that acknowledgments continue to be important to remind us that we must sustain the process of listening and learning which are integral to reconciliation    

We are all treaty people

Jr. Girls softball tryouts

Jr. girls softball tryouts are cancelled for tomorrow after school and rescheduled for next Tuesday, April 30th after school 3:30-5pm.

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

This morning, Period 1, Jr. Concert Band will rehearse with Ms. Helms. This afternoon, from 3:30 - 4:30 pm, Sr. Concert Band will rehearse. We are working on Into the Storm, Skyfall and Farewell to Nova Scotia. 

FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT

This evening, beginning at 6:30 pm, your Middle School and High School Drama students will be performing their plays. They have invited the EMS Drama crew to join in on the fun, so please come out to support your friends on the stage! Admission is a free-will offering.

We will postpone our Monday meeting until tomorrow morning after announcements. Those students working the show tonight should be at the school by 6:00 pm.

Track and Field - Throwing

There will be a throwing practice today after school for all individuals who are interested in throwing javelin, discus, and shotput Practice will go to 4:15 PM. Make sure you have a good warm-up before you start throwing. Thank You 

Sr Girls Softball

Come on out to the ballfield in Kentville for the 3rd annual season opener featuring your Titans vs. King's Edgehill.  Opening pitch is at 4.

Spirit Squad

There will be a 10 minute meeting at the beginning of lunch today in Mrs. Fougere’s room.

Middle School Rugby:

Practice today after school, from 3:30-4:30. Please get your consent forms and fees into Miss Cecchetto as soon as possible.

Unified Basketball:  

We are hosting Unified games this Wednesday in the gym against Avon View and Horton. Come on out during lunch to support the Unified Team!!
