Track and Field

A reminder to all track athletes to get their forms into Mrs. Baldwin as soon as possible.  Also, if you are ordering a t-shirt, orders must be in by April 26th.

Sr Girls Rugby

The Titans take on CK tonight at Acadia under the lights. Kick off is set for 7:30, come out and support your TItans, Good luck ladies!

Sr Boys Rugby

Two great games from the boys rugby team. The first game we had an incredible win of 31-0 vs Horton. Then another win of 17-5 over West Kings. Our two MVPs were DaeShawn Fletcher and Silas Spinney and a crazy play of game by Kaj Lindeman. Hope to see you all supporting us at our games next Thursday vs AV!

Drama Production

Come support NKEC Drama Clubs and Tech Crew on Monday the 22nd. Both middle school and high school will be presenting their productions: Backstabbers and Broomsticks and Miscommunication, along with the EMS production. If you want to catch this triple feature, it's a free will offering and begins at 6:30pm. 

NKEC Candles

Exciting news from our Entrepreneurship class! We're launching a candle business, just in time for Mother's Day. If you’re interested please stop by Mr. Sanford room on Monday to choose your favourite scent out of the 6 amazing options we offer! It’s $12 for one and your support means the world to us! Mark your calendars and join us in spreading the light and love with our handcrafted candles. Together, let's make this endeavour a shining success!

Milk Tea

Good morning Titans. After Monday's success, Teimcha will once again have milk tea for sale in the lobby today at lunch. Thank you for your support, See you there!

Spirit Squad

There will be a spirit squad meeting Monday at lunch in Mrs. Fougere’s room.

NKEC Safe Grad Fundraiser

This SUNDAY, April 21st, join the NKEC Safe Grad Committee for a showing of the Princess Bride on the Big Screen. The show starts at 1pm and is playing at the Al Whittle Theatre in Wolfville! There will be themed concessions and a themed photo booth available. Please bring cash as there is no debit available. Tickets can be purchased at the Valley Family Fun website, search for princess bride, and are also available at the door. All proceeds for NKEC Safe Grad

MUSIC DEPARTMENT

Just a reminder to Grade 8’s, you have a regular rehearsal during Period 6 today! 

Monday, both Grade 7’s & 8’s, have a rehearsal during Period 1 and Sr. Concert Band will have a regular rehearsal until 4:30 pm. Note the time change - for the benefit of our musician/actors who have a performance on Monday!

STAGE CREW

The four/five Stage Crew members working the Spring Play are reminded of the dress rehearsal taking place on Sunday from 1 - 5 pm. Let River Nickerson know if you have issues attending.

Interac Rotary Club 

The NKEC Interac Rotary Club will be doing a free soup give out today in centre square, kentville!  The event will start at 7pm! There is more information on the posters around the school! Come on out and enjoy soup made special by all the rotary members!
